LGHTBDY — the movement practice of Light Remembrance

Strip what’s decorative. What’s left still speaks.

Movement, sermon, and breath — in one practice. On a mat, in a lot, in a room full of women.

01 — The practice

Three things
at once

Most practices give you one. This one refuses to separate them, because your body never did.

Move.

Fascia keeps a record. We’re not stretching — we’re returning to what your tissue filed away and never told you about.

Hear.

There’s a sermon inside the movement, not after it. Some teaching only lands while you’re on the floor.

Breathe.

The one thing you can run on purpose. That isn’t small. That’s the door.

Nobody is
watching. Move like it.

02 — Where

Not a
studio.

A living room floor. An empty lot in February. The ground you’re already standing on is the altar — that’s not a consolation, it’s the point.

So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

ROMANS 10:17
03 — Rooms

But sometimes,
a room.

I bring LGHTBDY into studios around central Ohio. A full floor, low light, other women breathing next to you. Pop in for one — no membership, no experience, no idea what you’re doing. That’s the correct amount of preparation.

But God hath tempered the body together, having given more abundant honour to that part which lacked:

That there should be no schism in the body; but that the members should have the same care one for another.

And whether one member suffer, all the members suffer with it; or one member be honoured, all the members rejoice with it.

04 — One to one

The
Floor

Some things won’t come out in a full room. Not because the room is wrong — because your body won’t do it while it’s being counted.

The Floor is LGHTBDY on its own, built for one body. Sixty minutes, live, over video. I watch what your hips do, what your jaw does when the teaching lands, where you go quiet — and the next session gets built from that. Movement, sermon, and breath, same as always. No portrait, no written word, no application.

Format

single session, or a block of four

For

anyone. No experience, no prerequisite.

Rate

No price list, because there’s no standard session. We set it in conversation.

Want the word alongside the movement? That’s Grounded Guidance + LGHTBDY, monthly, three months minimum — the two practices running together.

05 — Who this is for

The woman
who —

01

has done the therapy and still can’t unclench her jaw.

02

prays with her mind and can’t get it past her throat.

03

was taught her body was the problem to be managed.

04

opened something early, by her own hand, and has been careful ever since.

05

is tired of choosing between her faith and her flesh.

But God.

Ready to move in worship

Here are two opportunities to move into the body what you already perceive to be true in the spirit and mind.

06 — Where it goes

This is the
surface.

You can stay here as long as you need to. Practice in your own room, on your own clock, with nobody’s eyes on you.

When you’re ready to go deeper, there are two doors. They are not a ladder. Take whichever one your body is already leaning toward.

Water

At the Well

Nine weeks, on Thursdays, in a room with other women. Thirty-three seats. You go under with people who went under with you.
